I had a pleasure to meet Ana through a friend who has two under two! Ana was their full time nanny, and when I met her I knew I just wanted her to look after my baby! She’s nothing but perfect for kids. She was energetic to look after the kids, but also very patient and capable of keeping them calm and happy. She speaks 3 languages, she’s smart and has good values, everything I want for someone that is spending time with my baby and it’s gonna be part of their growth. She’s lovely with my daughter, keep her safe and healthy, she does some activities for babies, and is capable to identify exactly when my baby needs to sleep so she doesn’t get overtired, or when she’s hungry. My baby loves her! I really recommend Ana if you want someone who’s gonna teach love and kindness to your kids!

We’ll provide you with a list of available sitters. Then you can personally screen and vet promising candidates by asking for references and organizing an official interview. If you find a babysitter that meets your requirements, set up a trial period on Sitly to get in touch with them directly.

First things first – message the prospective babysitter or nanny about any past childcare experience they may have, and ask about references from prior families. Then you can check in with the other parents to see what their impression was of the sitter.

Next, come up with a list of questions that will help you determine if the sitter will be a good match for your family’s needs. Finally, when you’re ready, schedule a convenient time to get together in person for a one-on-one.

First, you should make sure to comply with the minimum wage or hourly rate, established by law. Additionally, each babysitter’s rate is determined by several factors – including their level of experience, the number of kids who need looking after, and how far they need to travel for the job.

In order to come up with an appropriate rate, you should first take into account the minimum wage for your area. Then, you might consider offering a higher rate of pay to keep things fair if you’re asking for any help with things like tutoring or chores around the house - or if you know your kids can be a handful for even the most patient of sitters!
